After being told for several years, by several people, on several topics that I should write a book, I decided to take the leap in 2023 and start writing articles and blog posts.  Baby steps, folks. I am doing this to not only share some of my favorite topics and hobbies, but also to challenge my thinking, and I hope yours as well.  I'll share things that make me say, "Huh?  What?? Why???"  I want us to challenge the status-quo and the top-down methods we have come to accept in life too often.  I believe we are stronger than we think.  We can create the lives and communities we want.

So what kinds of topics might you read about in these articles?  Everything from hobbies like local history, genealogy, and metal detecting to introverts, entrepreneurs, and economic development. 

 

I'm an economic developer and certified business advisor by day.  More importantly, I'm an advocate for small, rural Appalachian communities who need a cheerleader and someone to help them find the tools they need to create the lives they want.
